Position Overview
Seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst / Automation Engineer to perform both functional testing and test automation for a web-based judicial case management system. The role requires strong business/functional analysis skills along with hands-on automation development using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, C#/Java, SQL, and Azure DevOps. The candidate will design test cases, maintain automation frameworks, execute regression testing, analyze defects, and collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders. 
Required Skills

  • 5–10 years of Functional Testing 
  • 5+ years of Automated Testing 
  • Advanced Functional, Black Box, Integration, System, ADA/WCAG, and UAT Testing 
  • UI Testing & Automated Testing 
  • SOAP/REST/JSON Web Service Testing 
  • Agile/Scrum development lifecycle 
  • Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright 
  • C# and/or Java 
  • Page Object Model (POM) automation frameworks 
  • SQL for data verification and backend testing 
  • XPath and Object-Oriented Programming principles 
  • Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git 
  • Visual Studio 2022+ 
  • Advanced Test Case Design 
  • Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) 
  • Test planning and regression testing 
  • Defect tracking and troubleshooting 
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to work independently and as a self-starter 
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on functional, black-box, exploratory, integration, system, ADA/WCAG, and UAT testing. 
  • Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright. 
  • Build and maintain POM-based automation frameworks. 
  • Translate complex business requirements and business rules into structured, reusable test cases. 
  • Create and maintain test plans, regression suites, and requirements traceability matrices. 
  • Execute smoke and regression testing throughout the development lifecycle. 
  • Write SQL queries for backend/data validation. 
  • Test SOAP/REST/JSON web services. 
  • Analyze automated test reports and distinguish application defects from automation/script issues. 
  • Document defects with clear technical reproduction steps. 
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. 
  • Use GitHub Copilot, Modern Requirements, and Copilot for DevOps to support AI-driven testing and test documentation. 
  • Maintain positive/negative, cross-browser, and integration test coverage. 
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field. 
  • OR 5 years of combined experience in software functional analysis/testing and test automation engineering.
