Job description

Marksman Security 

Now Hiring for 

3rd Shift Security Officers! Full or Part Time

Pay: $18.50/hr

Bowling Green, OH Area

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a security officer, security guard, and/or other safety and protection related fields, including customer service roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, moving out from behind the door to assist guests
  • Process visitors and announce their presence to residents / owners / offices
  • Check identification, and ensure proper authorization is granted prior to giving access. 
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports when emergencies arise
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
  • Maintain awareness and familiarity with the site-specific operations and post orders
  • Issue visitor passes
  • Document and maintain log of visitor's vehicle
  • Patrol assigned location/facility as needed
  • Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
  • Other job duties to be determined by manager

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
  • Valid state security license / certificate
  • Strong computer skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Demonstrated experience working as a security officer
  • Residential security experience is  a PLUS!
  • Previous experience in access control and or CCTV camera systems
