Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead the Commercial Rotary Wing Aftermarket (CRWAM) projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aerospace engineering, project management, and product development, with a proven track record of successfully bringing complex products to market. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage cross-functional teams, customer communications, and ensure alignment with business objectives. This leader will be comfortable acting independently within program authorizations.

  • Lead NPI Projects: Oversee the entire product introduction process from concept to production utilizing our Project development standard process and software, ensuring timely delivery of aftermarket products to the market. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, marketing, regulatory, and customer teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.  Manage scope change throughout project life.
  • Financial and Contract analysis: Proficiency with financial analysis (e.g. cost breakdowns, risk analysis, budget, etc.), experience with contract terms and conditions, and profit decisions.
  • Requirements Management: Gather and document product requirements. Ensure that all requirements are clearly communicated to the engineering and development teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards throughout the process. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to conduct oversee testing, validation, and verification activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Follow internal guidelines and processes for attaining regulatory approvals for products and ensure security of sensitive documents.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and process improvements while promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience including 2+ years in program or project management.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget, while proactively managing scope and risk.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and components;
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Master's degree;
  • PMP Certification
