Security Representative Senior

Job Number 720121BR Description: What We're Doing: Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS), Program Security and Compliance invites you to step up to one of today's most daunting challenges: the protection of exquisite government capabilities leading to warfighter supremacy against our peer and near peer adversaries. As a program security professional at Lockheed Martin, you'll safeguard the sensitive information and warfighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests. Here, you'll work alongside other program security experts and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you'll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected.

The Work: Duties will include but are not limited to: This position will be assigned to the LM RMS Special Access Program (SAP) Security Team at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma, Arizona. The Security Rep Senior is responsible for integration and execution of contractor and government security operations, and must be able to prepare, maintain, and enforce security policy and procedures within the Special Program environment. Must have a thorough knowledge and experience of applicable government and user agency security policies, including National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), the DoD 5205.07 Manuals Volumes 1-4, Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD 705), and knowledge of the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG). You will oversee visitor access and be the first line of security defense at the Special Access Program Facility (SAPF). You will execute the handling and storage of classified documents, electronic media, and support access control procedures. You will perform random searches, entry and exit searches, conduct self-inspections, prepare for customer inspections, assist in security investigations, communicate and interact professionally during the enforcement of security policy and procedures. You will interact daily with senior ranking military officers, enlisted personnel, and key government stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism. You will support either first, second, or third shift operations to include weekends as required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for.

Basic Qualifications: 1. Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program. 2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate. 3. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs). 4. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate. 4. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials. 5. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills. 6. Basic knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 and Volume 4, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.

Desired Skills: 1. Experienced with access control and intrusion detection systems. 2. Prior experience with GSA containers and document. 3. Experienced with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Joint Access Database Environment (JADE). 4. Familiarity with Marine Corps aviation squadron operations. 5. Self-starter with outstanding communication skills. 6. Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 7. Familiarization with Defense Information Security System (DISS).
