We have an immediate opening for an Operations Manager (OM). If you work currently in or are familiar with security guard scheduling and mid-level oversight of security operations this could be the position for you!
We are looking for an experienced security supervisor/scheduler who can maintain multiple site and city schedules. Further responsibilities will include conducting on-the-job training for new guards and various follow-up training needs, as required. In addition, when needed, you will be required to perform various field security tasks including, but not limited to, filling any open post spots in the security schedule.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Able to supervisor low and mid-level management and supervisors.
  • Human Resources: Recruiting Screening / Interviewing / Onboarding / Orientation. Includes travel recruiting when needed
  • Coordinate and maintain the daily security schedule for multiple sites/cities
  • Ensure officer attendance at scheduled work posts; enact progressive discipline when needed
  • Conduct spot checks of security officers online and in person
  • Conduct on-the-job training of new officers
  • Conduct general training, as needed, for all officers including cross training of reliable officers.
  • Review daily reports from each worksite and address any concerns
  • Review paperwork, medical releases, reports and other materials for your entire division
  • Handle unemployment and FMLA cases
  • Manage Security Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) and Area/Field Supervisors to ensure seamless functionality of security operations
  • Monitor and fix overtime, under hours and progressive discipline reports
  • On-call coverage includes after hours, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 3-4 year proven security scheduling experience
  • Must have 2-3 years of managing low to mid-level managers and supervisory experience
  • 5 years' experience in the security industry
  • Possess a valid security license in the state in which you are applying
  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • Clean driver's license, no serious moving violations in the past 5 years
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a in-depth background check/investigation
  • Clear positive personality traits and qualities including leadership, communication, conflict resolutions, etc.
  • Ability to become an armed qualified manager if needed

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Atleast an associate's degree in a related field
  • Prior military experience
  • 4-5 years of progressive and proven security scheduling, managing low to mid level managers and overall supervisory experience
  • 6+ years of overall security experience
  • Prior human resources experience (i.e., recruiting, hiring, terminating, promoting, etc.)
