Allied Universal is hiring a Global Security Operations Center Analyst. The Global Security Operations Center serves as the central point of contact for a variety of issues that may impact the business. The Global Security Operations Center Analyst is a key component to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities and processes is being maintained globally. The position helps to mitigate risk to the business by protecting people, assets and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor client facilities, alarms and activities and coordinating response as required on a global scale
  • Coordinate required access to facilities as needed, including approved modifications to access/ID badge clearances
  • Coordinate emergency response and crises management activity on a global scale including assisting traveling employees when a significant incident occurs
  • Monitor on site activity at the headquarters facility including security staff tours and incident response
  • Monitor the shared global security email account throughout the day, conducting required follow-up and responding in a timely manner
  • Maintain situational awareness of local, regional, national and global events that may impact the organization
  • Communicate any issues or updates to the security team and management promptly
  • Alert to unusual/suspicious activity and supporting or escalating appropriately
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with all levels of client management, and others across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot problems, gaps in services, and recommend solutions
  • Support the execution of special events as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in the security industry
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a corporate office setting including previous Operations Center or Call Center experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to give clear, assertive, directions
  • Ability to professionally communicate with the public, visitors, client management team and others with a high level of customer service
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively under high stress situations, while exercising sound judgement
  • Ability to deal with wide variety of emergency situations impacting personnel and facilities
  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, problem solve and multitask
  • Computer proficiency; able to effectively utilize Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to work in a technology-based environment and effectively utilize a wide variety of security systems including Card Access, Camera Systems, Alarm Systems, Building Automation System (BAS), Everbridge- Mass Notification System, Travel Tracker \ CR24 Notifications, Visitor Management, Dataminr, etc.
  • Ability to learn via on-the-job training and interaction with current GSOC professional staff members
  • Ability to identify, manage, and report security risks impacting personnel, facilities and the business
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to process information and effectively communicate amongst a variety of stakeholder groups and departments
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and influence others

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience operating in a global security environment
