As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Plant in Minden, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. In this dynamic role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, sales floor areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and note unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Support retail operations by assisting with closing procedures, checking exterior doors and high-traffic areas, and communicating clearly with management regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
