Job Description

We are seeking professional and reliable Armed Security Officers to join our school safety team in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for active or retired law enforcement professionals who meet LEOSA/HR218 requirements and are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive patrols and monitor school facilities.
  • Maintain a visible, professional security presence.
  • Respond to and document incidents according to established protocols.
  • Maintain current certifications, identification, and qualification records.
  • Coordinate with the security team and law enforcement as needed.
  • Follow all agency safety, training, and operational standards.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Valid LEOSA / HR218 qualification or eligibility as a Qualified Active or Qualified Retired Law Enforcement Officer under 18 U.S.C. §§ 926B / 926C.
  • Current firearms qualification completed within the last 12 months, as required by law.
  • Valid North Carolina Armed Security Guard Registration Card.
  • U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in military service, law enforcement, security, corrections, or emergency response.
