Job Description:

This Position will be based out of Greensboro, NC at the NCGRE - Greensboro Hub.

Job Summary
This position addresses security and the quality of services impacting UPS and its customers. He/She monitors and audits security policies and procedures, assists with the conduction of investigations, and aids in ensuring compliance with government regulations. This position inspects physical assets (e.g., buildings, vehicles, etc.) to identify potential security issues and reviews service failure reports to identify employee dishonesty incidents and procedural breakdowns. He/She investigates losses, compliance violations, and possible criminal activity. This position presents investigation findings to management and government agencies to ensure appropriate incident responses.


Responsibilities:

  • Audits quality and integrity policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

  • Monitors employee disciplinary data.

  • Analyzes investigation results and the root cause of losses to determine preventive measures.

  • Analyzes research and surveillance data, interviews investigation subjects to obtain written incident statements, and prepares accurate and thorough case files.

  • Develops customized security procedures for external customers.

  • Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.

  • Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues.


Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred

  • Availability to work flexible shift hours

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

  • Must be willing to be on call 24/7 and monitor a corporate cellphone

  • Travel may be required

  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

  • This job is a grade 20E.

  • Hours of Operation are subject to change: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST.

  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate.
