Job Description
The Regional Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's physical security strategy to protect employees, visitors, facilities, assets, and operations. This role leads security personnel, manages security technologies, ensures compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements, conducts risk assessments, and coordinates emergency response and business continuity efforts.
YOUR TASKS
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive physical security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage enterprise physical security programs across multiple facilities.
  • Conduct periodic security assessments and recommend improvements to reduce risk.
  • Oversee daily security operations and contract security personnel.
  • Monitor security performance and ensure compliance with established service levels.
  • Manage incident response, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate after-hours emergency response and crisis management activities
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate physical security risks.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.
  • Develop mitigation strategies for emerging threats.
  • Support enterprise risk management initiatives.
  • Access Control & Security Technology
  • Manage access control systems, visitor management systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm monitoring.
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrades of security technologies.
  • Partner with IT on integrated security systems and cybersecurity considerations affecting physical security.
  • Maintain emergency response procedures.
  • Coordinate emergency drills, evacuations, and crisis response exercises.
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response or Crisis Management Team.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Lead or coordinate investigations involving theft, workplace violence, vandalism, fraud, policy violations, and other security incidents.
  • Prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, Legal, and law enforcement, as necessary.
  • Vendor & Contract Management
  • Manage security service providers and vendor relationships.
  • Manage security budgets and monitor expenditure.
  • Ensure contract compliance and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain documentation related to security operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver security awareness training for employees.
  • Train security personnel on procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
  • Supervise security supervisors, officers, or contracted security teams.
  • Measure performance and conduct evaluations.
  • Mentor team members and support professional development.

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in physical security, law enforcement, military, or corporate security management.
  • 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Experience managing contract security services.
  • Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and security technologies.
  • Experience conducting investigations and incident management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security management software.
  • Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, higher education, or corporate environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements preferred.
