JOB SUMMARY:
  • Monitoring staff and contractor/vendor traffic Must greet everyone in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ensuring sign-in and sign-out procedures are complied with appropriately.
  • Answers and screens incoming calls and directs to the appropriate staff and/or area

• Security Officer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all required security documentation, which will be provided at the beginning of the period of performance may include:
  • Access and Exit Logs
  • Incident Report Logs
  • Inspection and Damage Reports for both vehicles and property Intervene with non-lethal, passive means in the event of an incident.
  • Provide active shooter and other types of training applicable to security related practices.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any guard provided must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a security officer or two (2) years experience in a branch of law enforcement or other type of protective service.
The guards must be trained for and capable of handling any and all incidents in a legal and professional manner.
  • Must be in complete uniform and well-groomed at all times.
  • Abide by all ordinances and regulations pertaining to the Job Corps CCCs operation and secure all required licenses and permits;
  • Being on time and reliable.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or experience required.
