Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary responsibility of the Security Officer is to provide a safe and secure environment for hospital staff, patients, and visitors on the Porter Hospital Campus. Security Officers enforce hospital policies, conduct routine and impromptu patrols of the campus, respond to emergent/non emergent call for service promptly. The Security Officer will also provide service to the Helen Porter Nursing Home that is located on site. The Security Officer reports to the Security Manager and or the Director of Support Services.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior law enforcement or Security experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience performing security in the healthcare environment also strongly preferred.
