Description
Our internship program offers shadow and participation opportunities to college and university students in and around Clay County, FL. We currently offer internships in a variety of Criminal Justice related fields and more specialized degree plans. These include rotations through multiple departments such as CST, Patrol, Detention, Communications/Dispatch, Training, and more.
CCSO offers a limited amount of internships each semester. Our team will contact you with more information on availability once an application is received.
Duties
Interns' responsibilities will vary based on career path. Supervisors from each unit will work with students to determine the assignments that offer the best chance for success.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Currently enrolled students
  • Speak and understand the English language
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • The following items may be required at various steps in the application process:
    1. Driver's License
    2. Social Security Card
    3. Program syllabus/requirements relating to internship
