About the Role: 
First Call Security Innovations LLC is looking for a skilled Security Cable Installation Technician to join our growing team in Houston, TX. If you're passionate about hands-on technical work and want to play a key role in keeping businesses secure, this is the opportunity for you. Responsibilities: 
  • Install, terminate, and test low-voltage security cabling including coax, Cat5e/Cat6, and fiber optic lines
  • Run and route cables through walls, ceilings, conduit, and other structures in residential and commercial settings
  • Mount and connect security cameras, access control panels, alarm systems, and related hardware
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing security cable infrastructure and system connections
  • Coordinate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely job completion
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with safety standards

Requirements:
 
  • 1+ years of experience in low-voltage cabling, security systems, or structured wiring installation
  • Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions
