Our Overnight Security staff ensures the safety of guests, staff, and property by patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and enforcing access control. They handle emergencies, respond to security breaches, and address guest disturbances, maintaining a visible presence to deter crime as a seasonal Full-time employee.

Requirements:

Preference given to candidates with Security experience.


Essential Functions Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written English communication
  • Critical evaluation skills
  • A commitment to ethical practice and legal compliance
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Resourcefulness and “outside-the-box” thinking
  • Must be willing and able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with peers and staff.
  • Must be knowledge of and operate within the guidelines of the Basin Harbor Safety programs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Have the stamina to work up to 10+ hours: sitting, standing and walking
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 25lbs, reach overhead and perform repetitive motion
  • May involve walking between venues and climbing stairs between floors
