Reporting To: Carmen
Compensation: $20.05 - $20.50 / hour
Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard that will work as part of a team to protect the security and safety of company property, personnel, and visitors. Within this role you'll have complete competency on site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service to employees and site visitors. This role is an unarmed security position. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Security Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
  • Patrols assigned areas of facilities and grounds and responds to emergency situations and calls for service.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on Foxconn property.
  • Remove unauthorized personnel or trespassers from the area.
  • Perform security checks of all exits, doors, and access points.
  • Reports potential hazards or equipment malfunctions/alarms to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras.
  • Performs security patrols throughout the buildings as well as exterior patrols of the Foxconn property.
  • Provides for traffic and parking enforcement within assigned area and participates in foot and vehicle patrols.
  • Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
  • Investigates, documents, and manages security incidents and hazards.
  • Maintains knowledge/follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.
  • Operates vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Provide assistance to employees/visitors in need.
  • Other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to adjustments to the regular work schedule based on the needs of the operation.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • CPR Certification is preferred; company will provide mandatory CPR/First-Aid training.
  • Prior experience working in security is preferred.
  • Valid State of Wisconsin Driver's License accompanied with the ability to safely operate vehicle is required.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations, calmly and efficiently.
  • Must work in various environments (indoors and outdoors) such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders during shift.
  • Must be able to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to maintain attention and stay alert for the duration of your shift.
