Job description

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL)is looking for someone to join ourPhysical Securityteam asa Security OperatorinPullman, WA.Be the trusted first line of support when it matters most. As a Security Operator, you'll combine customer service, problem-solving, and security awareness to help keep SEL safe and secure. This is a swing shift position, scheduled Monday - Friday (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm).

A typical day asa Security Operatormight include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service while observing SEL security policies and culture.

  • Create and maintain security documentation as required and perform compliance audits.

  • Monitor alarms, assess the security implication of incidents, and respond appropriately.

This job might be for you if:

  • Related associate degree or equivalent experience

  • Skills in oral and written communication to prepare reports, programs, and other materials

  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
