Job description

Security Supervisor Part Time

Northeast Security is looking to add to our Patrol Unit for one of our top clients in Boston, MA! If you are looking for a career in Law Enforcement, Military, Criminal Justice or relative then this is for you:

Pay rate: $25.10 - $27.90 depending on position & experience

**Driver's License of 3 or more with clean record is required**

Schedules: Variety of full time & part time, overnights, second shift

MUST HAVE: Experience with Quality of Life individuals

Security Officer Requirements:

  • Excellent oral & written communications, organizational, & interpersonal skills. Computer literacy is required, working in MS Windows, Outlook, & One Note.
  • Vigilant patrolling of a large property to include Vagrants, & the community with quality-of-life issues.
  • May be required to review security footage & conduct investigations of incidents.
  • Will be required to respond to emergency situations to patrons with Quality-of-Life issues such as homelessness & addictions.
  • Will be required to write incident reports.
  • Will also be required to use walkie talkies to communicate closely with the team.
  • Must be able to discern irate tenant/customer calls/ access requests.
  • Previous Law Enforcement, or related field/education in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Those in the process of obtaining a Criminal Justice degree for a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent computer skills utilizing multiple screens

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal)
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment background, & drug screenings.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Security Guard Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Security Patrol Officer will be responsible for responding to emergency situations in person
  • May be required to be outdoors during all-weather situations to monitor, patrol, & respond to threats/emergencies.
  • Use modern technology to monitor a variety of alarm signals & respond/dispatch security personnel to those areas following the standard operations manual to notify the proper authorities.
  • Answer incoming lines Must be able to work individually & as a team to respond to incidents.
  • May be required to review security footage & conduct investigations of incidents.
  • Must be able to remain calm & work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Patrolling & monitoring multiple premises to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behavior or security breaches.
  • Observe & report incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Communicate with local law enforcement units & fire departments as necessary.
  • Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
  • Write detailed reports on incidents that occurred on the premises daily.
  • Maintain Proper use, completion & submission of all forms associated with patrol activities &/or duties.
  • Respond to requests for assistance & evaluate appropriate courses of action.
  • Comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders.
  • Assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc
