Overton is currently hiring for Unarmed Security Officers in the Los Angeles Area. All candidates for this posting should have a driver's license and clear driving record and be able to perform both a mobile and foot patrol for the duration of their shift.
Pay Rate: $17.50/paid weekly
MVR- Motor Vehicle Record Check
Mobile Patrol position. Must pass drivers background check. Valid DL required.
  • A safe driving record is a condition for employment as a driver.
  • Driver must have three or more current years of verifiable over-the-road experience and a valid US CDL
  • Candidates cannot have more than 3 tickets or
  • 2 Tickets and 1 accident
  • No more than1 accident
  • No major traffic violations (ie DUI, DWI, DWLS, FMFR).

As an Overton Professional Security Officer you will be a part of a results oriented team responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all our serviced properties. Qualified applicants for Security Officer Positions must meet the minimum requirements as described below:

  • Have a current BSIS Guard Card
  • Have excellent English oral and written communication skills
  • Be computer savvy and have the ability to utilize innovative, wireless technology
  • Have flexible and weekend availability
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards
  • Must have a neat and professional appearance

Responsibilities
  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
  • Monitor entrance of vehicles or people in the property
  • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
  • Monitor perimeter fencing for any breaches or damage
  • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
  • Provide assistance to people in need
  • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
  • Understand when to contact SOC, PD, client or management
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor towards employees when arriving or leaving
