ECLARO’s client is a leading technology solutions provider, collaborating with customers to manage their needs and achieve success in their business goals.

If you’re up to the challenge, then take a chance at this rewarding opportunity! Position Overview: Mid-level Security Engineer to support its research-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to balance security best practices while enabling innovation and flexibility for engineering and research teams.

The team is specifically looking for an engineer who can operate autonomously, adapt to evolving environments, and work collaboratively with researchers without becoming overly process- or policy-heavy. The focus is on enablement and practical security solutions rather than rigid governance. Responsibilities: Support and enhance system and network security initiatives across research environments Partner closely with researchers and engineering teams to implement practical and flexible security controls Assist with security tooling, vulnerability management, and security posture improvements Evaluate and address risks while maintaining operational agility for research teams Contribute to secure development and infrastructure practices within cloud and software environments Perform security assessments and remediation recommendations across various platforms and tools Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support ongoing security initiatives Required Qualifications: 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering or related cybersecurity roles Strong foundational knowledge of: System Security, Network Security, Security Best Practices Experience working in flexible, fast-paced engineering or R&D-driven environments Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical stakeholders GitHub Advanced Security, Security Scorecard, Checkmarx AWS security experience (highly preferred): IAM, Cloud security best practices, Security monitoring and controls within AWS environments Mid-level engineer who is technically hands-on and adaptable Comfortable operating in less rigid environments that prioritize innovation Not overly policy-focused or governance-heavy Understands how to enable teams securely without creating unnecessary blockers Self-driven and capable of navigating ambiguity effectively Pay Rate: $70.00-$77.00/Hour.
