Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows 11 Enterprise Deployment Tech Lead to spearhead our organization's strategic migration to Windows 11. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise deployment strategies, strong technical acumen, and exceptional project management skills.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Enterprise Strategy Development:
o Develop and execute a comprehensive Windows 11 deployment strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and IT roadmap.
o Conduct thorough assessments of hardware compatibility, software application compatibility, and user impact analysis.
o Identify potential risks and challenges and develop robust mitigation plans.
โ€ข Technical Leadership and Team Management:
o Lead and mentor a team of technical specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
o Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure adherence to best practices and security standards.
o Configure and optimize Windows 11 settings, policies, and security configurations to meet enterprise requirements.
โ€ข Deployment Execution and Optimization:
o Oversee the deployment process, including image creation, deployment methods (SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, etc.), and post-deployment tasks.
o Monitor deployment progress, address issues promptly, and optimize deployment efficiency.
o Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and network teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
โ€ข User Experience and Adoption:
o Work closely with end-user support teams to provide timely assistance and training.
o Develop comprehensive user documentation and training materials.
o Gather user feedback and incorporate it into future deployment and support strategies.
โ€ข Reporting and Documentation:
o Generate detailed reports on deployment progress, success metrics, and ROI.
o Maintain comprehensive documentation for future reference and troubleshooting.
Requirements
โ€ข Deep understanding of Windows 11 enterprise features, functionalities, and security implications.
โ€ข Proven experience in large-scale Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations in complex enterprise environments.
โ€ข Expertise in deployment technologies such as SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, and scripting (PowerShell, etc.).
โ€ข Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 compatibility issues, resolution techniques, and application virtualization.
โ€ข Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
โ€ข Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, including executives, technical teams, and end-users.
โ€ข Experience in project management methodologies and ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
โ€ข Strong understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, and risk management.
Preferred Skills
โ€ข Microsoft certifications related to Windows 11, Intune, SCCM, or Azure AD.
โ€ข Experience with cloud-based deployment strategies and Azure AD.
โ€ข Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V).
โ€ข Experience with emerging technologies, such as AI and machine learning, to optimize deployment and support.
