Job description

Are you an experienced Audio/Video Installation Technician looking for an opportunity to work on exciting commercial construction projects? A growing Texas-based technology integration company is seeking dependable, motivated professionals to install audio, video, security, and communication systems in commercial buildings throughout the Austin area.

Responsibilities:
  • Install commercial audio/video equipment, including televisions, speakers, amplifiers, and projector systems.
  • Install and mount security cameras, public address (PA) systems, horns, sirens, paging systems, and related communication equipment.
  • Pull, route, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling for audio, video, and communication systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings.
  • Mount equipment securely while ensuring a clean, professional installation.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and verify all systems are functioning properly before project completion.
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment on active commercial construction sites.
  • Communicate professionally with supervisors, project managers, contractors, and customers.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience installing commercial audio/video, low-voltage, structured cabling, security, or communication systems.
  • Preferred experience working in commercial construction environments (schools, hospitals, office buildings, warehouses, retail centers, etc.).
  • Ability to pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cable is a plus.
  • Experience mounting televisions, speakers, cameras, and other commercial AV equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow installation drawings.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overhead for extended periods.
  • Must be dependable with reliable transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not required.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday
  • 7AM – 5PM
  • Overtime available based on project needs
Pay Rate:
  • $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
  • Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
