Low Voltage Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Low Voltage Technician to assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems in commercial and residential environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working in fast-paced job site environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain low-voltage systems
  • Install security cameras (CCTV), electronic locks, access control, data cabling, AV, and network equipment
  • Pull, terminate, label, and test Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, and coaxial cable
  • Troubleshoot cabling, network, and system issues
  • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation plans
  • Mount equipment and integrate system components
  • Travel to customer job sites for installations and service
  • Maintain tools, materials, and a safe work environment
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Complete projects on time and to company standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with low-voltage systems, security camera installation, electronic locks, access control, or telecommunications preferred
  • Basic knowledge of networking, cabling, and electronic security systems
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
