Job description

Cybersecurity Engineer — Position Summary

Adroit Affine is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect the digital infrastructure of our enterprise clients. You will design, implement and operate security controls spanning cloud and on-premise environments, conduct threat assessments and lead incident response efforts to ensure our clients remain resilient against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client security posture through risk assessments, vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
  • Design and implement security controls: IAM, Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, endpoint protection.
  • Monitor security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar) and respond to incidents.
  • Lead vulnerability management programmes — prioritise, remediate and track findings to closure.
  • Support compliance engagements: HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, SOC 2, NIST and GDPR.
  • Develop security policies, procedures and playbooks; deliver security awareness training.
  • Perform cloud security reviews across AWS, Azure and GCP using CSPM tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of cybersecurity or information security engineering experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR and IDS/IPS tools.
  • Knowledge of IAM concepts and Zero Trust principles.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).
  • Understanding of security frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SOC 2.
  • Strong analytical and incident response skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP or equivalent security certification.
  • Experience with SOAR platforms for security automation.
  • Penetration testing experience (web application, network, cloud).
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps — SAST/DAST tools in CI/CD pipelines.
