Overview:

$20.25 / hour 

This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 years.

  • Ensure a safe environment for both park guests and staff
  • Maintain friendly and courteous guest service while dealing with guests and employees
  • Monitor compliance of park rules by guest and staff for their safety and enjoyment
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work locations
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Canada’s Wonderland safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision
  • Protect park and guest assets through proactive patrolling
  • Conduct major or minor investigations as directed
  • Complete Security Incident Reports and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Control the access of all associates, suppliers, vendors and other visitors through the designated entry/exit gate
  • Direct human and vehicular traffic when required

Qualifications:
  • Individuals that are enrolled in or graduate of a Post-Secondary Law Enforcement program or possess equivalent education
  • Candidates that are minimum 18 years of age

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and methodical manner
  • Candidates that present themselves in a professional and positive manner in all situations
  • Individuals that can provide their own CSA approved steel toed black boots
  • Candidates that are able to wear PPE with appropriate training: safety vest, gloves, face shield, face covering
  • Certification in standard First Aid/CPR and have a valid Security Guard license
  • Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, on weekends, and holidays
