Titan Security is looking for professional, people-oriented Armed Security Patrol Officers to join our Public Safety Team. As a key part of our safety operations, you'll help ensure a secure, welcoming environment for our guests, tenants, and staff across our retail, dining, and entertainment areas in the Myrtle Beach Area. If you're dependable, calm under pressure, and enjoy engaging with the public, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities include:
  • Perform regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout the property, including retail stores, restaurants, parking lots, entertainment zones, and pedestrian walkways.
  • Provide courteous assistance to guests, offering directions, answering questions, and creating a visible, approachable presence to enhance the overall visitor experience.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to disturbances, emergencies, medical situations, or suspicious activity. Initiate appropriate action and coordinate with local authorities or emergency services as needed.
  • Collaborate with the surveillance team to monitor CCTV systems and report irregular activities or safety concerns.
  • Maintain detailed incident and activity reports, including logs of patrol rounds, observed hazards, and guest interactions.
  • Assist with managing pedestrian and vehicle traffic during peak hours, events, or special promotions, ensuring smooth flow and safety for guests.
  • Work closely with retail tenants to identify and deter theft or fraud, and support store managers with internal investigations if necessary.
  • Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, lighting, and fire safety equipment to ensure all facilities are secure and operational.
  • Promote awareness of property rules, safety protocols, and emergency procedures to guests and staff.
  • Utilize communication and conflict resolution skills to peacefully manage difficult situations or disputes between guests, vendors, or staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have SLED security license
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in security, law enforcement, or a customer-facing role preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any state or local security license or certification
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be available for weekends, and holidays
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR, and criminal background check
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
  • No face or neck tattoos
  • Must have a professional presence and demeanor
