Job description

About the Role

ISC Constructors is looking for a motivated, early-career IT professional to join our growing IT team as a Security & Infrastructure Analyst. This is a hands-on role that spans both cybersecurity and infrastructure, giving the right candidate broad exposure across network administration, cloud infrastructure, identity management, and security operations. You will work directly with the Security & Infrastructure Manager and play a key role in protecting and maintaining the systems that support a leading industrial electrical contractor operating across multiple states.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a well-rounded foundation in enterprise IT at a company that is actively investing in its technology infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the administration of network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless access points across corporate and job site environments

• Manage and monitor the email security gateway, including spam filtering, quarantine review, and policy configuration; administer simulated phishing campaigns to build security awareness across the organization

• Assist in the investigation of security incidents — gathering logs, documenting findings, escalating appropriately, and contributing to post-incident reviews to improve future response

• Support Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) — user accounts, group policies, and access management

• Monitor security tools including endpoint detection and response (EDR), email security, and vulnerability scanners

• Participate in vulnerability management and help track remediation efforts

• Support backup infrastructure and assist with disaster recovery testing

• Help maintain security documentation, policies, and risk registers

• Contribute to cloud infrastructure administration (Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365)

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field

• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory

• Genuine curiosity about cybersecurity, you don't need to have all the answers, but you should want to find them

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured processes and standards

• Effective communicator you'll work across the IT team and occasionally with field operations staff

• CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus but not required

Why ISC Constructors

• Direct mentorship from an experienced Security & Infrastructure Manager

• Broad scope, you won't be siloed into one technology area

• Exposure to the unique IT challenges of a multi-site industrial construction environment

• A company that is actively growing and investing in technology as a strategic priority

• Competitive salary, depending on qualifications
