How You Will Make an Impact

  • Install, program, and commission CCTV, access control, fire, and burglar security systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex low-voltage wiring and system faults to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Configure basic to advanced IP network settings for integrated surveillance and security hardware.
  • Collaborate with residential and commercial clients to explain system functions and deliver clear operation training.
  • Execute clean installations by efficiently utilizing hand and power tools according to technical specifications.
  • Maintain complete and accurate service records and installation documentation for every completed job.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven experience in low-voltage wiring, electronics, or security system servicing.
  • Basic knowledge of IP networking and network configuration.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and maneuver through tight spaces.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for regional projects.
  • Must be comfortable with being up high and different heights.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Vocational degree, trade school training, or Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology.
  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience installing security, access control, and fire systems.
  • Active industry certifications such as NICET, UL, or ESA.
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex electrical blueprints and system riser diagrams.
