Position Summary...Join Walmart as a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Information Security, where you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions. About the team:
The OneLab Development and Engineering team within Walmart Global Tech’s Information Security Division focuses on creating secure, reliable software systems that support the ANAB-accredited eDiscovery and Forensics Lab. The team collaborates closely with business units to identify, collect, and preserve electronically stored information for legal and investigative needs. They emphasize stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement throughout the software development life cycle.   • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and address technical and business requirements for information security solutions.
  • Design scalable, modular, and secure software architectures aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code using languages such as Python and C#, ensuring adherence to coding standards and security best practices.
  • Implement automation scripts to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, enhancing workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot security-related defects to maintain system integrity and availability.
  • Monitor program metrics and ensure timely delivery against project milestones while managing risks and recommending corrective actions.


What you'll bring:

  • Full-Stack Development experience designing, building, and maintaining UI/UX and server-side applications.
  • Proficient Python, C#, .NET (or similar) with strong coding and debugging skills.
  • Design of scalable software architectures and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ability to develop modular, extensible, and secure solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management including identification, engagement, and communication to support partnerships.
  • Knowledge of automation and workflow optimization to enhance software engineering processes.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, defect management, and root cause analysis to ensure quality.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risk, requirements, and metrics for effective solution delivery.
  • Design and deploy AI-driven solutions that solve complex business challenges.
