JOB SUMMARY
Drive Wilsonart’s growth in the healthcare sector by securing product specification standardization across major healthcare projects and organizations. Lead strategic engagement with project teams, designers, and fabricators to ensure seamless implementation of Wilsonart solutions. Function as a trusted advisor to influence decision-making, foster long-term relationships, and champion Wilsonart’s value proposition. Monitor and verify conversion of specifications into actual product sales, ensuring measurable impact and continuous improvement in market penetration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote and Sell Wilsonart Products
•    Focus on Wilsonart HPL and Acrylic Solid Surfacing as the key drivers in the Healthcare space, leveraging core marketing programs and incorporating all supporting products as needed by application.
•    Build relationships with key decision-makers, including facility planners, in-house design teams, project management teams, and external A&D firms, to drive product standards.
Manage National Account Opportunities
•    Communicate each opportunity to internal Wilsonart personnel involved in specification, implementation, and sales.
•    Engage with project teams to ensure Wilsonart is written in the specifications at the most profitable level.
•    Verify product sales resulting from each specification and identify barriers when conversion does not occur.
Collaborating with Regional Teams and Distribution
•    Partner with Regional/Metro Managers and Independent Distributors on healthcare opportunities.
•    Assign national and regional opportunities to Specification Representatives and Associate Representatives where local fabrication is likely.
•    Provide guidance to secure and implement specifications effectively.
•    Confirm activity within respective project teams and track verification of sales or barriers.
Marketing and Brand Presence
•    Secure placement of samples and marketing collateral within national healthcare organizations.
•    Provide feedback to internal teams (Design, Marketing, Product Development) on tools and products needed to strengthen Wilsonart’s position in the healthcare industry.
Industry Engagement
•    Represent Wilsonart at industry associations, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
Reporting and Analysis
•    Quantify product sales resulting from each specification and report findings to leadership.
•    Maintain accurate records of opportunities, activities, and outcomes.
Other Duties
•    Perform additional responsibilities as required in a professional and courteous manner.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Product Expertise: Knowledge of Wilsonart’s full product line and understanding of its marketing performance. 
Sales & Specification Acumen: Proven experience with marketing, sales strategies, and specification principles within commercial or healthcare markets. 
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats with all levels of the organization and external customers. 
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Salesforce, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for presentations, reporting, and data analysis. 
Sales Capability: Strong ability to sell products and concepts, influencing decision-makers and driving adoption. 
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a demanding environment. 
Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel as required to meet business objectives. 
Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver professional public presentations to diverse audiences, including executives and industry professionals.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree Required
One additional year of experience may substitute for one year of required education with a maximum substitution of four years.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years
5-10+ years of field selling/specification experience.
Prior experience selling or promoting building materials into the Healthcare Industry preferred.
Established relationships within the healthcare A&D, facility planning, contractor, or fabrication community.
WORKING CONDITIONS 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20-50lbs) 
ENVIRONMENT: 
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Examples: executive, management and support positions
