CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Contract | Onsite | Mid Shift | Rotating schedules available including 12-hour, 10-hour, 7-on/7-off, and weekend-only rotations; weekend and holiday requirements apply based on rotation

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a full range of CT imaging studies on patients from infants through adults, including traumas, strokes, and both acute and ambulatory cases
  • Operate across multiple scanning rooms covering acute care, urgent care, and emergency department settings, with occasional outpatient coverage
  • Start and manage IV access for contrast administration as required by study protocols
  • Utilize department-specific equipment including Siemens and Toshiba 300+ slice scanners
  • Document and manage imaging workflow using Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS
  • Work independently as the sole technologist on shift when required, maintaining quality and safety standards
Required Qualifications
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
  • Experience in a Level 2 or higher trauma center
  • Ability to start IVs independently
  • Must clock in and out at the facility per department policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • ARRT CT specialty certification preferred
  • Experience with Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS systems
  • Familiarity with high-volume CT environments averaging 90–100 scans per day
