Job description

Overview
To lead and contribute to the development and enhancement of IAM Central portal by leveraging React for dynamic user interfaces and Java-based APIs for robust back-end functionality. This role will involve collaborating with the team to build new features, integrate front-end components with existing Java APIs, troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, and learn our development standards and best practices, with the goal of becoming a proficient full-stack developer specializing in React front-ends and Java API back-ends within the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain user-friendly web applications using React.
  • Build and manage back-end APIs and logic with Node.js and Spring Boot.
  • Work with databases to store and retrieve application data.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs across the full stack.
  • Ensure the application is performant and secure.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $89,000 - $149,000.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of professional experience as a full-stack developer or in relevant front-end/back-end roles.
  • Front-End: Proven experience (1+ years) with React.js, including component-based architecture, state management (e.g.,
  • Redux, Context API), and front-end routing.
  • Back-End: Solid experience (1+ years) with either Node.js (with frameworks like Express.js) OR Spring Boot (Java).
  • JavaScript: Strong understanding of core JavaScript concepts (ES6+).
  • APIs: Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Databases: Familiarity with at least one relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) database.
  • Tools: Experience with version control tools (Git)
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
