We’re looking for an Accountant who’s sharp, detail-obsessed (in the best way), and ready to be part of a collaborative, fast-moving team. At Stout, you won’t just “do accounting” — you’ll own your portfolio, build strong partnerships, and play a key role in keeping our properties financially healthy and thriving.
What You’ll Do
- Own financial statement packages for a portfolio of properties
- Post journal entries and keep transactions clean, accurate, and audit-ready
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage full-cycle bookkeeping (AP through financials)
- Track cash flow and prepare financial reports for property owners
- Partner with Regional Managers and Operations to answer questions and support smart decisions
- Jump in on special projects and process improvements
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of Property Management accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and cash basis accounting
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with accounting software (Yardi and/or Entrata preferred)
- Excellent organization and time management skills — you meet deadlines without breaking a sweat
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- A sharp eye for detail and pride in getting it right
Compensation & Benefits
- $25.00 – $27.50 per hour, depending on experience
