Job Title: Litigation Secretary - Labor and Employment
Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Hybrid)

Our client is a well-regarded labor and employment law firm, recognized for providing high-quality legal services to businesses across the country. With a collaborative culture and modern technology, they offer an environment where team members can thrive and contribute to complex litigation matters.
They are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their team. This direct hire role plays a vital part in keeping cases organized, documents accurate, and deadlines met while supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process.
What you'll be doing:
  • Prepare and format legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and correspondence
  • File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing
  • Review and proofread all materials to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain and update client files and attorney calendars using Outlook and CompuLaw
  • Arrange travel and schedule meetings for attorneys
  • Enter, review, and revise timekeeper timesheets
  • Prepare reimbursements, mileage, and vendor invoices
  • Provide telephone support and occasional receptionist coverage
  • Assist with pre-bill and client billing processes
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a litigation secretary
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Experience with Lexis Nexis, Pacer, ECF, CompuLaw, and Concur
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, document formatting, and litigation procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management systems
