Position Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to support a team of litigators by handling a wide range of administrative and legal tasks in a high-volume environment.

● Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials

  • Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, travel, and client communications

  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files

  • Handle state and federal e-filing and court submissions

  • Track deadlines and manage case dockets within the case management system

  • Coordinate billing processes and assist with resolving discrepancies

  • Prepare exhibits and assist with trial preparation

  • Manage and organize discovery documentation

  • Enter attorney time and assist with new matter intake

  • Support business development efforts through presentations and materials

  • Assist with file closing and records management

  • Provide additional administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of legal secretary or legal assistant experience in a law firm

  • Prior experience supporting litigation attorneys

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including formatting and track changes

  • Experience with document management systems (iManage preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional and polished demeanor when interacting with clients and external parties

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a team environment
