Job Description

Position Summary

The Legal Secretary provides high-level legal and administrative support to the Firm’s Partners and Associates. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist with transactional legal documents, including:
    • Purchase and sale agreements
    • SEC filings
    • County recordings
    • Corporate and LLC formation documents
  • Proofread, edit, and redline legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain and organize client files within the document management system
  • Assist with attorney billing, including:
    • Time entry
    • Billing edits
    • Invoice preparation
  • Manage calendars and deadlines using Microsoft Outlook
  • Coordinate virtual meetings and communications through Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • Open, establish, and maintain new client files
  • Perform administrative and clerical support tasks, including:
    • Drafting correspondence, letters, memos, and emails
    • Preparing check requests and expense reports
  • Provide reliable administrative support while handling multiple assignments and priorities
  • Work occasional overtime as needed
