Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly reliable and physically active Armed School Security Officer to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This position is ideal for a former military service member/law enforcement looking to contribute to school safety in a visible, disciplined, and impactful role.
This is a permanent assignment, covering M-Th or T-Fri schedule depending on operational requirements, with opportunities for additional hours. Officers will be stationed at a private school campus, where professionalism, presence, and proactive deterrence are essential.
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for students, staff, and visitors
  • Conduct routine patrols of school grounds and access points
  • Monitor entry/exit areas and enforce visitor access control procedures
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies swiftly and effectively
  • Maintain detailed daily reports and communicate with school administrators
  • Deter and detect potential threats through active presence and situational awareness

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Military service required (minimum 3 years)
  • Valid Florida Class D and G Security Licenses
  • Experience in school or institutional security preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must be physically capable of standing, patrolling, and will wear body armor on shift as requested by the client.
  • Excellent verbal communication and de-escalation skills
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Neatly groomed appearance

Schedule

  • M-Th or T-Fri schedule depending on operational requirements. 
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Opportunity to expand hours based on performance and client needs

Compensation & Benefits
