We are seeking a ServiceNow (SNOW) Architect to serve as a senior member of amission ‑ criticalService Infrastructure team.

The ServiceNow Architect supports a DoD/DoWcustomer and serves as the primary technical authority for designing, governing, andoptimizingthe ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on architecting scalable enterprise workflows, ensuring platform compliance, leading module implementations, andestablishingdevelopment standards that support secure, resilient, andhigh ‑ fidelityservice delivery across the organization.

This is afull ‑ time position working onsite at a location in Colorado Springs, CO requiring less than 10% travel.

Salary $150,000 – $180,000

Key Responsibilities The candidate will:
  • Architect, design, and govern the enterprise ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, and custom applications.
  • Define andmaintainthe ServiceNow platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and enterprise architecture.
  • Establish and enforce development standards, coding practices, integration patterns, and configuration management guidelines.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex workflows, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and automation logic.
  • Architect and maintain CMDB structures, service mapping, discovery strategies, and data governance frameworks.
  • Oversee integrations with enterprise systems (identity services,monitoringtools, cloud platforms, ERP systems).
  • Ensure platform compliance with DoD cybersecurity, NIST, FedRAMP, and internal security policies.
  • Conduct platform assessments,identifytechnical debt, andleadmodernization and optimization initiatives.
  • Provide architectural oversight for upgrades, module deployments, andmulti ‑ environmentrelease strategies.
  • Develop andmaintaintechnical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, workflow maps, and runbooks.
  • Support internal and external audits by documenting data flows, access controls, and platform configurations.
  • Collaborate with operations, cybersecurity, and mission stakeholders to ensure platform reliability and alignment with organizational needs.
The successful candidate will:
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, drive architectural decisions, and mentor developers and administrators.
  • Possess strong documentation, workflow diagramming, and communication skills.
  • Havedeepcommand of ServiceNow architecture, data models, scripting, and integration frameworks.
  • Show mastery of CMDB design, service mapping, and enterprise data modeling.
  • Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills across workflows, integrations, and platform components.
  • Be capable of designing scalable, secure, andhighly availableServiceNow solutions.
  • Effectivelyinterface withmultiple teams, gather requirements, and translate mission needs into platform capabilities.
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to documentation, versioning, and configuration management.
  • Focus on reliability, maintainability, and observability across all ServiceNow modules and integrations.
Qualifications
  • Must have 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing ServiceNow solutions.
  • Must have 2+ years in a senior or lead role guiding platform engineers or developers.
  • Must have strong experience across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, HRSD).
  • Must havehands ‑ onexperience designing integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, andIntegrationHub.
  • Must have experience with CMDB governance, service mapping, and discovery.
  • Must have a DoD 8570.01 ‑ M IAT Level II certification with CE (Security+ CE,CySA+, GSEC, etc.).
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Master Architect (CMA), or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience supporting federal agencies or regulated industries.
  • Strong experience with cloud integrations (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Proficiencywith scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines,GitOpsworkflows, orInfrastructure ‑ as ‑ Code(Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of ITIL v4, DevOps, and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF,DoDAF).
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and automated testing for ServiceNow workflows.
