OVERVIEW
Step in and make an immediate impact as a Senior ServiceNow Developer for our enterprise healthcare insurance client. We are seeking a hands-on HRSD expert to take ownership of steady-state platform operations, ensuring HR technology remains robust, reliable, and highly performant during a period of team transition. You will leverage your advanced scripting and architectural expertise to quickly resolve complex support issues, optimize existing workflows, and maintain seamless integrations for the organization's internal workforce. Details:
  • Pay Rate: $60 – $65/hr
  • Duration: 3-month contract (potential for extension)
  • Location: Remote or Hybrid; 2x/week in office if located in CA. Must reside in the following states: CA, WA, OH, CA, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, MD, MN, NV, OR, AL, IL, VA, WI, TX, NY
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the end-to-end solution architecture of complex HR Service Delivery (HRSD) ServiceNow implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business goals. Serve as the technical expert for HRSD ServiceNow design and support issues.
  • Co-lead the HR Service Delivery roadmap, by diving deep into the People org needs, as well as business challenges and understanding how to HRSD tooling can be helpful
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture designs
  • Ensure all HRSD ServiceNow applications and services are current, reliable, tuned, and accessible in accordance with service level agreements
  • Design and implement robust HRSD platform enhancements to improve functionality and the overall end-user experience
  • Develop and modify ServiceNow forms, workflows, flow designer, transform maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs, scheduled jobs and scripting modules such as Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Business Rules
  • Deep understanding of HR case management, COE security, Virtual Agent, HR Knowledge Management, Lifecycle Events, Service Portal concepts.
  • Build dashboards and reports for HR Service Delivery in ServiceNow. Report on and manage data within the ServiceNow platform including imports and exports, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Create and modify knowledge base articles to enhance user support and documentation
  • Resolve HRSD issues promptly
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires a college degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience
  • Requires 3+ years of HR Technology development, configuration, and optimizing experience including HR Service Desk
  • Experience in ServiceNow HR Service Delivery application strongly preferred
  • Requires understanding of Human Resources functions and business processes
  • Experience leading large, enterprise-wide products and system implementations preferred
  • Ability to apply Agile methodology
  • Excellent verbal / written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting modules like Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, etc.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON is preferred
  • Experience developing and maintaining queries against Microsoft SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL, to prepare reporting statistics (KPIs) and status reports
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) highly preferred
  • HRSD ServiceNow Certified System Implementation Specialist is preferred
