Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton CA. 

This Locums position offers 6 Months.

Program Details

  • Shift Times: 8a-8a
  • How many MDs/APCs during the day? 2 MD's scheduled for 24hrs each per day
  • How many MDs/APCs during the night? 1 currently adding a 2nd in July
  • How long is credentialing? 90 days
  • Will Temp/Emergency privileges granted? Possible if criteria met

Clinical Details

  • Annual deliveries: 3000
  • Annual ED OB visits: 6,000 - 7,000
  • Annual Surgical Procedures: Approx 60
  • Annual C-section assists: n/a
  • Minimum years of active experience; 3
  • OBED Visits: 250
  • NICU: Level 3
  • Circumcisions: No
  • OB/GYN Hospitalist Duties: In-house 24/7 L&D coverage of unassigned patients and emergencies, main ER and emergency gyn surgeries, inpatient consults
  • Back Up Call: Provided by community OB/Gyns
  • Consult Expectations: Unassigned patients
  • Surgery Assist: C-sections

Job Requirements:

  • Board Certified Physician
  • Successful completion of a residency program
  • 3 years experience
  • CA State License
