Shift: Rotating 12-hour continental schedule (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)

The Role

We are seeking a 2nd Miller to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for transferring bulk loads, loading bulk flour tankers and assisting daily operations of the mill.

Day to Day
  • Prepare and load flour tankers to ship to customers.
  • Transfer and blend flour meeting specified recipe requirements.
  • Coordinate with Logistics Manager and truck drivers to organize and prepare daily outgoing orders.
  • Work effectively in a food processing environment with high standards for production quality.
  • Ensure good manufacturing practice, hazardous awareness critical control point and Company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Participate during heat treatment, cleaning, sifter, and sieve maintenance.
  • Perform daily tasks, checks and monitoring according to guidelines set out by the Mill Manager/
  • Complete work orders for mill shutdowns, monthly inspection items, corrective action reports requirements and scheduled tasks.
  • Complete required inspection reports and work orders accurately.
  • Cleaning duties as required, shared with millers daily cleaning schedule.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing considered an asset.
  • Food Safety experience and knowledge is considered an asset.
