Vitalant is needs Transportation volunteers!

  • Transportation Volunteer
  • Volunteers travel throughout our service area, transporting products for timely distribution. Our volunteer drivers transport to and from mobile blood drives, hospitals, and medical centers.

Transportation Volunteer Role Description & Requirements:

  • Drive a Vitalant Electric Vehicle!
  • Deliver products to and from Vitalant Donor centers
  • Pick up freshly collected blood products from the Vitalant donor center and deliver them to the Vitalant Tempe Facility
  • Deliver supplies to Vitalant’s blood centers or blood drives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our communities’ hospitals and their employees.

Requirements

  • Must be 19 and older
    • Must be willing to undergo MVD check and a background check
  • Receive full training online and in person
  • Ride-along for all volunteers is provided before 1st shift
