Job Summary

Repairs and maintains all machines in department in a timely manner. Repairs involve mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting. Candidate must be able to pass all mechanical and electrical classes assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Repair machines on a daily basis in a timely manner and operate machines when necessary.
  • Perform preventive maintenance at regularly scheduled intervals as instructed by department engineer.
  • Stock raw materials in designated areas.  Empty waste containers daily.  Must be able to drive a forklift.
  • Assist engineer in analysis, machine maintenance, machine efficiency and parts control.
  • Keep work area clean and keep tools in orderly manner.
  • Perform other related work as required by management.

  • High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
  • Must know how to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices and electrical equipment. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
