The Energy Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive energy management programs across Holy Cross Health's main campus and FSED locations. This position drives sustainability, reduces utility costs, and ensures compliance with ASHRAE 170 and TJC Physical Environment standards across approximately 1.5 million sq ft of healthcare real estate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Energy Program Management
Develop and manage multi-year energy master plan aligned with Trinity Health sustainability goals.
Analyze utility consumption data and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
Administer energy budgets and prepare monthly energy dashboards for leadership.
Building Automation & Controls
Oversee BAS/DDC systems (Tridium Niagara) including programming, optimization, and monitoring.
Ensure HVAC schedules and setpoints comply with ASHRAE 170 and Joint Commission standards.
Evaluate BAS integration requirements for capital projects including new FSED commissioning.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with TJC PE chapter, CMS CoP, ASHRAE 90.1, and NFPA 110.
Maintain refrigerant tracking records per EPA Section 608.
Coordinate with FPL on rebate programs and demand response initiatives.
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
Present energy performance reports and recommendations to Director of Engineering.
Serve as SME for TJC/CMS survey readiness pertaining to energy and utilities management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferredExperience: 5+ years energy management; healthcare facilities strongly preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred; EPA Universal (608) preferredTechnology/Tools: Tridium Niagara BAS, CMMS (Brightly Worxhub), MS Office Suite
