Job description

What you get to do
  • Executes tasks required to maintain accurate perpetual inventory in SAP.
  • Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
  • Complies with all company policies and best-practices.
  • Performs tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Executes authorized tasks and transactions (goods movements, queries, etc.) using SEA applications such as SAP (SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment's ERP System), SAMMS (Sourcing and Materials Management System), MMS, & RI etc.
  • Uses Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) to create, maintain, complete and implement documents and forms such as Material Status Report (Mat-Stat), Material/Product/Menu Recipe Change (PMR), etc.
  • Analyzes and processes inventory documents such as invoices, proof of delivery (POD), pick tickets, etc.
  • Monitors inventory: analyze movements; identify and reconcile inventory discrepancies efficiently & accurately; conduct physical counts as needed; price change events; assist with cycle counts; coordinate depletion, replacement, and instatement of materials.
  • Administers basic purchasing contract terms (pricing, freight, tax, etc.).
  • Monitors & processes inventory documents such as department to department transfers, location to location transfers, Want Lists, Broken Box Lists, price change events, cycle counts, mid/max adjustments, etc.
  • Effectively communicates with internal guests (Merchandise Warehouse, corporate merchandise, Requisitioners from other departments, etc.) and external guests (Delivery Drivers, Vendor Reps, etc.) to ensure proper inventory management.
  • Assists with filing and archiving paperwork.
  • Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What it takes to succeed
  • Experience with SAP Logistics/Material Management and Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment.
  • Ability to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time as well as frequently reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, crouch, crawl and climb stairs.
  • Ability to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.
  • SeaWorld experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MMS, xstore, Retail ideas usage & reporting

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.
  • Non-peak season:5 days of unrestricted availability to include both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
