Overview

Children's Mercy is seeking a Transfusion Medicine physician to join their team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Transfusion Laboratory Service and will be involved in transfusion medicine laboratory and clinical pathology clinical calls. Strong interpersonal and communicational skills are vital. CP or AP/CP and Blood Bank Transfusion Medicine board certifications are required.The candidate must be eligible for active, unrestricted Missouri and Kansas medical licenses. Academic appointment will be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure-track) in the Department of Pathology at The University of Missouri Kansas City, commensurate with experience. The candidate is expected to contribute to educational and scholarly activities in the Department of Pathology based at Children's Mercy Hospital.
