JOB TITLE: Teleprompter Operator - Seasonal
LOCATION: Miami, FL
ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision is seeking a seasonal Teleprompter Operator to join our Miami team. The Teleprompter Operator is responsible for rolling the teleprompter for the talent. This includes being able to seamlessly move through the rundown when changes are made and keep focus during productions that can be long or short format.
JOB RESPONSABILITIES:

• Loads and runs the script following the talent
• Clean and inspect prompter hardware including monitor and reflective glass prior to broadcast
• Check closed captioning of recorded or live broadcast if necessary
• Build and break remote prompters
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment

YOU HAVE:

• Experience in television production is a must
• Working knowledge of Computers and Windows Operating Systems including Word processing software.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• 1-2 years of experience with live studio broadcast
• Comfortable with all aspects of the production
• Perform well under pressure and breaking news situations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Must be willing to work from office in Doral, FL
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to (8) hours
• Capable of working in a seated position for extended periods.
• Must be capable of working long hours on computer-based equipment.
