Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Tele Engineering Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to:.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts.

  • Work on complex problems and provide creative solutions.

  • Provide engineering specialist advice and expertise to the organization.

  • Lead a technically and experientially contrasted team.

  • Design, research and develop highly advanced applications which contribute to new product/business opportunities.

  • Perform responsibilities as needed associated with the position.

  • Architect and maintain robust log ingestion pipelines.

  • Design, develop, implement, and optimize advanced correlation rules, use cases, and detection logic.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or 12 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in the use of network related tools such as Wireshark, Netcool, Solarwinds.

  • Proficient in the creation of Cyber Security policies to better defend the Network.

  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.

  • Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.

  • Knowledge of system engineering tools.

  • Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to details.
