The Associate Manager, Social Media reports to the Senior Manager and plays a key role in bringing the brand’s social strategy to life through the execution of content, campaigns, and social-first initiatives. Deeply immersed in the day-to-day social landscape, they leverage platform insights, audience behaviors, emerging trends, and performance data to identify opportunities and inform content direction. The ideal candidate is highly attuned to internet culture, with a strong instinct for creating authentic, engaging content that reflects each brand’s unique voice while driving audience engagement. In partnership with the Senior Manager and cross-functional teams, this role helps execute social initiatives, optimize performance through analytics, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while ensuring alignment with broader marketing and brand objectives.

  • Support the Senior Manager in executing a comprehensive social media strategy across key platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and excitement around the brand
  • Develop and maintain monthly social content calendars aligned with omni-channel marketing campaigns, product launches, seasonal activations, cultural moments, and broader business objectives
  • Create engaging, social-first content that captures attention through compelling storytelling, trend relevance, humor, and platform-native creative execution
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice across channels while tailoring content to the unique audience behaviors, formats, and best practices of each platform
  • Lead the development of campaign briefs, photoshoot concepts, creative timelines, and content plans that support organic, paid, and influencer marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze social performance, maintaining weekly reporting and delivering actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content effectiveness, audience growth, and overall channel health
  • Create, publish, and manage static, video, and short-form content across all brand social channels using platform-specific tools and best practices
  • Partner with the Social Media Assistant and cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative social content that supports brand and business goals
  • Collaborate with Creative, Merchandising, E-commerce, Licensing, and Marketing partners to ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with brand standards
  • Monitor social, cultural, retail, and digital trends to identify timely opportunities that strengthen audience engagement and keep content culturally relevant
  • Utilize social listening and analytics tools to gather customer, audience, and market insights that inform content strategy and business decisions
  • Leverage project management platforms such as Workzone, Monday.com, PageProof, and Microsoft Office to manage workflows, timelines, approvals, and cross-functional communication
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, attention to detail, and executional excellence in a fast-paced environment
  • Support influencer marketing efforts, including outreach, sample coordination, content tracking, campaign reporting, and relationship management
  • Assist with operational and administrative functions that support social media initiatives, including giveaway and sweepstakes management, licensor compliance, and other program execution needs
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of team processes, workflows, and best practices to drive efficiency, scalability, and consistency across social media operations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and 3–5 years of experience in social media management and digital campaigns
  • Experience managing social media pages 
  • Familiarity with the retail environment 
  • Must have the ability to lift over 25lbs
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation for product drop-offs and be willing to travel up to 25%
  • Experience with digital campaigns across platforms, content creation and curation across platforms
  • Knowledge of social platforms such Emplifi, Meltwater, or Sprinklr is a plus.
  • Must be able to create compelling branded content using social media content creation tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, and other platform-native editing tools (Instagram Reels editor, TikTok editor, etc.) 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written 
  • A self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset who consistently thinks ahead and takes initiative without being prompted 
  • Committed to continuous improvement in processes, quality, and team collaboration
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple high-volume projects simultaneously
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong time management skills and the ability to effectively manage numerous moving parts, competing priorities, and concurrent projects
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Has a sense of urgency and takes accountability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment 

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
