Job description

The Septic Truck Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Class B CDL septic truck to pump septic tanks and service portable toilets. This role involves heavy physical work such as removing heavy concrete lids and performing yard maintenance, with a seasonal workload that peaks during the summer months. The operator primarily works independently, traveling locally to multiple job sites and utilizing specialized pumping equipment to complete tasks while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class B CDL septic truck to pump septic tanks
  • Remove heavy concrete lids during pumping operations
  • Service and clean portable toilets
  • Perform general yard maintenance tasks
  • Travel regularly to various local job sites
  • Maintain and use specialized pumping equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications
