Job description

About the role
HealthFitness is looking for Park Attendants to work in the Reception Center at our corporate client site located in Racine, Wisconsin (WI).
This is a seasonal position working May through September.
Must have availability to work on weekends.
Oversee operations and provide customer service for outdoor recreation offerings in a park setting.
Key Accountabilities
  • Manage operations and provide customer service within Park Recreation Center.
  • Operate Point of Sale system for services such as golfing range, mini golf, etc.
  • Manage park pavilion reservations and maintain patron satisfaction
  • Successfully complete opening and closing procedures as indicated on task sheet.
  • Inspect and clean outdoor facilities/equipment daily (pulling trash, using a compactor, leaf blowing sites etc.)
  • Assist with grounds crew / park maintenance tasks as needed .
  • Recognize and respond to an emergency within the boundaries of the park.
  • Use of vehicles: golf carts, utility vehicles.
  • Enforce the policies and park regulations to keep patrons safe.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully pass a driving record check.
  • Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • Maintain up to date certifications/ trainings and improvements for proper work habits and safety.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Comfort in using utility vehicles (UMAX, golf carts etc.).
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Compensation: $10 - $14/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
